About Dr Harry Dean

I am an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist based in London, dedicated to offering warm, compassionate, and evidence-based psychological support tailored to your unique circumstances and goals.

A compassionate and collaborative approach

Reaching out for psychological support can feel daunting. I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a safe, warm, and supportive environment where you can feel completely at ease. Together, we explore what you are experiencing without judgment, drawing upon evidence-based interventions tailored specifically to what you need.

Clinical experience and specialist areas

With extensive experience across both the NHS and private practice, I work with clients navigating mild to severe and enduring mental health challenges. I have specialist interest and expertise in stress, anxiety, and burnout using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I also hold specialist clinical and research experience in supporting individuals with complex conditions, including psychosis.

Qualifications and clinical standards

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), upholding rigorous standards of clinical practice and ethics. Trained to doctoral level in CBT and systemic therapy, I have also completed advanced post-qualification training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Whether you need short-term coping strategies or deeper therapeutic exploration, my practice is rooted in robust scientific methods.

"Therapy works best when you feel heard, understood, and supported with interventions that truly fit your life."
